Opens up and the space doubles.  There is a deck that attaches.  5 People. Beds, Table, Chairs etc.  There is a back plate that covers the batteries. Takes 3 D Batteries.
This is very large (see measurements above) and heavy.
Good Condition. There are stickers on the walls in some of the rooms inside the house.  I do not know if there are pieces that are not original to this set.  it is as shown in photos.  It is a hard to find dollhouse set.  Please look at all photos.
